Intermission - Return to Fenside

The party return to Silgate and meet with Lord Habbsberry to debrief on the week prior. The Lord of Silgate relays a message of apology from Suzie addressed to the party, following her resurrection. She confirms that Torka has become the new Warmother.

Lord Habbsberry informs the party that he is currently preparing a trade caravan to visit the orcs in the Oswian Jungle. It is expected to depart in 20 days time and he wishes for the party to escort them, as tensions between the orc and elf groups living there have been high.

Stavroula, Uusi, Ida and Glob return to Fenside and visit their land. They leave Deryl, George and Stippson with a significant amount of money from their arena winnings and quest rewards to continue developing it, expanding the tower and establishing an orchard.

Stavroula purchases a cooking kit, reasoning that the party will be traveling a lot and is in need of a cook. She practices cooking under one of the Temple of the Pantheon’s cooks, a middle-aged infernal woman named Nevari.

Uusi returns to Ezhar’s Wizard Emporium. She confers with her mentor about what happened at the moment of the Warfather’s “death” and they determine that he likely cast Plane Shift to escape. Uusi resolves to increase her alchemy proficiency and visits Raktesh, meeting a fellow black kobold alchemist named Yipp. Yipp gifts her with a self-branded alchemy set and provides her with a free sample of a reptilian beautifying potion. Uusi also receives an update about Zilch. She is told the lunar primordian is “doing well” and that the Blight is receding from his body. He seems to believe that Cassandra will return if he gets better.

Ida hangs out at her usual public house and has a chance encounter with a familiar man by the name of Chud Dudley, who was traveling with her when she first arrived in Fenside a long time ago. He teaches her how to lockpick.

Nearing the day of departure, the party makes the journey back to Silgate and visits Rubrik’s Dryad Sanctuary. They arrive in time for two major events: Unification Day and the adoption of a dryad by the Gelwyse family. The party and satyr brothers (sans Glob and Gilly) spend the day celebrating and merrymaking in Silgate. Uusi dances and basks in the attention and adoration of a crowd, who all recognize her from her deeds at the Mage Blight and Aresgate. Ida wins a large stuffed bear for Robby. Stavroula buys a magical spice pouch for herself with her carnival tickets.

Ida and Robby leave to enjoy sunset at the docks followed by dinner at The Golden Swine, an upscale restaurant. Uusi, Stavroula and Terry decide to visit The Hen’s Toupee, a rowdy sailor bar, instead.

They find the dryads dancing around Hibiscus when they return to the Sanctuary in the evening. Hibiscus announces that she’s pregnant again and all join her in dancing until they retire.
